The Zonta Club of Oakville Presents "Human Trafficking Community Awareness” Event on May 4th, 2022 at FILM.CA

The evening includes a short film, "Aimee", followed by a panel discussion on human trafficking in our community.

Funds raised will go to SAVIS of Halton and Elizabeth Fry Peel-Halton supporting victims of Human Trafficking

(VIP ticket holders can meet the panel and enjoy wine and cheese after the panel discussion)

Honey Bee - Virtual Screening

*** ALL ticket holders will be given exclusive access to enjoy viewing “Honey Bee” at home film for 7 days. Starting May 1st to May 7th

Honey Bee follows the journey of Natalie “Honey Bee” Sorensen, an underage truck stop prostitute trapped in a human trafficking ring until she is transplanted into foster care in remote Northern Ontario and forced to confront her identity.

The film will be available for 7 days to screen virtually through OFFA with a link provided for all who purchase tickets to the event).

Donations along with ticket sales will be matched 50% by June and Ian

All proceeds will be distributed to SAVIS AND Elizabeth Fry Peel-Halton and other charities supporting victims of Human Trafficking and are to be distributed by Zonta Oakville.

Tickets are limited and for those that are unable to make this event, donations are happily accepted through Canada Helps. All donations over $50 will also have access to “Honey Bee” which can be viewed in the convenience of your own home for 7 days.
