Please join us as we recognize National Indigenous Day. Adapted from celebrated author Richard Wagamese's award-winning novel, this moving drama sheds light on the dark history of Canada’s residential schools and the indomitable spirit of our nation's Indigenous peoples. The story follows Saul Indian Horse through his mandatory attendance to residential school, the abuses he endures there and his escape through his prowess at hockey. However, as he advances in the game, Saul must find a way to deal with his tortured past before it consumes him.
The screening will feature a post-viewing Q and A with select cast members.
