National Canadian Film Day

Come celebrate National Canadian Film Day with OFFA, REEL CANADA, and Sheridan Alumni – Watch Meatballs FREE on Wednesday 21 April and chat with Oscar-nominated Director Ivan Reitman!

“Feel Good” is the theme for National Canadian Film Day 2021 and OFFA is proud to have been chosen as the Spotlight Festival for NCFD 2021! A screening of the hilarious Summer Camp film starring Bill Murray, Jack Blum, and Kate Lynch, will be available for 48 hours leading into National Canadian Film Day.  The screening will be followed by a special Q&A with Oscar nominated Director Ivan Reitman (Up in the Air, Ghostbusters),  and REEL CANADA cofounder Jack Blum (who plays Spaz in the film), as well as actress Kate Lynch (who plays Roxanne).  This event is in partnership with REEL CANADA. The event ticket is FREE and includes a screening of the film Meatballs, as well as a live Q&A  which will happen on a virtual platform at 9 pm EST. The film will be available for 48 hours to screen.  National Canadian Film Day is Wednesday 21 April, 2021.

The film starts at 7:30 with live Q&A to follow (the taped version of the Q&A will be included with the films if you miss it live).
