OFFA Kicks off 2021 Oakville Film Festival with Vibrant New Brand
OAKVILLE, ON—May 13, 2021 — OFFA, the Oakville Festivals of Film & Art, is thrilled to debut a refreshed brand, creating a visual identity that is bold, colourful and dynamic. With the city of Oakville growing in so many exciting ways, we thought it was more important than ever to refresh our own identity with a minimalist logo and vibrant brand that is clean and easily recognizable within Oakville, the surrounding communities that support our film festival and year-round screenings, as well as to all of the filmmakers who submit each year to showcase their films globally.
Our overall goal with this refreshed look was to celebrate who we are, where we are going, and create excitement about Oakville’s only independent film festival, which has become a cultural institution in our community. The refreshed brand will propel us into the next phase of our development.
“Working with Thrillhouse Studios to fashion this exciting, vibrant brand was a really great experience” commented Wendy Donnan, Executive Director, OFFA. “Our Board was guided through the process with clear, strategic thinking about creating an innovative brand that best tells our story and captures the creative visual elements of our unique brand, which consists of both film and art”.
This project is part of the Investment Readiness Program funded by the Government of Canada/s SI/SF Strategy.
