Oakville Film Festival …RETURNING TO LIVE EVENTS FOR 2022!
Tickets and packages are available now!

OFFA presents Oakville’s only independent film festival – the Oakville Film Festival – each year in June.  The 2022 festival, June 22-28th, will kick off as a HYBRID event, with mostly live screenings, several HYBRID screenings,  and some virtual only events that are available internationally.

The 9th annual Oakville Film Festival boasts over 100 films over 7 days, including Canadian and regional premieres, independent films, documentaries, and short films.  Make sure you stay for the Q&A after each film screening to elevate your film fest experience with direct audience access with artists and filmmakers.  Some films are available both live, and virtually.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Masking is encouraged but not required.  Masks will be available onsite for guests.

Film venues will be adhering to the Town of Oakville COVID policies which can be found here:

In the tough year of COVID-19, the Oakville Film Festival did an amazing job of pivoting to virtual, keeping their commitment to filmmakers and their audience. Wendy and her team continue to deliver a top-notch local festival. I recommend Oakville Film Festival and I will definitely participate again.

Ryan M

This was my first festival experience on the filmmaker side, I’ve had a few as an actor, and the experience with Oakville Film Festival could not have been a better start. The weekly workshops leading up to the festival were educational, communication great, and the people are kind and helpful.

– Ryan Northcott

Thanks for everything and congratulations for still making it possible despite new measures.. it was such a pride to be selected by you guys to premiere my movie in Canada
