The Canadian Premiere of the Film Saint Judy features the true story of immigration attorney Judy Wood, and how she single-handedly changed the U.S. law of asylum to save women’s lives. This is followed by an engaging panel discussion on issues presented in the film, and ways to facilitate change.

This event emphasizes the impact that women have in the world and on our community through volunteerism, philanthropy and dedication. Through the power of film, we will connect, converse and celebrate.

Panel discussion on issues presented in the film and on the state of women’s rights worldwide featuring lawyer Judy Wood, Producers Trevor and Marisol Brisbin, and Human Rights advocate Khadija Cajee. Moderated by Alita Rose Madeira.
